Caulk Hits 100 Purchases

The Caulk WordPress theme developed by Outer Spice and uploaded to Theme Forest on December 12, 2009 has been purchased over 100 times (108 at the time of this writing), and is currently near the top of the sixth page on Theme Forest in the all-time sales category (out of 18 pages). His little brother, the Caulk HTML template, is seeing success as well, and currently sits at a healthy 45 purchases. This’s over 150 total purchases for the Caulk family of themes in just under 2 months! We’re very excited about the success of our first template, and expect to see even higher sales for our forthcoming theme, which is to be named Socket. Thank you to all of our valued customers!

Oh, and that feature when you post a comment that fades from yellow to the regular way comments appear is stellar. Seriously. It's like my brian is going to explode from all of the awesome web creativity.

Thanks! So far I just have a design mock-up created in Fireworks. I could post it… but then again I don't want anyone to steal my design before I get a chance to create it! I'm sure that won't really happen, but part of me wants to keep it under wraps until it's ready to make it's debut. I can tell you that it's going to be super sleek and modern, with a dark and a light version, and it's going to feature this nice big flash featured content area: http://www.progressivered.com/cu3er/

I can't wait until our current project load slows down so I can actually start coding it!

My first one was Blue Frost, remember? That was a tribute to Zoolander. Caulk is pretty playful and very Zoolanderish as well. I guess I'm tired of all the standard names…
